Volunteer Shifts
Create shifts, share signup links, confirm coverage, and handle withdrawals.
Volunteer shifts let people claim specific coverage for an event.
Create Roles and Shifts
Start with the roles your team needs, such as Door, Bar, Merch, Cleanup, or Host. Then add shifts for each time block.
Use clear role names and instructions. A participant should understand what they are signing up for before they commit.
Share Signup Links
Share the volunteer signup link for the event when you are ready to collect coverage. The signup page shows the event, role, time, and instructions.
Confirm Coverage
When someone signs up, QuietDoor updates the shift counts so your team can see how many spots are open, pending, or confirmed.
Use pending and confirmed statuses to reflect how your team handles volunteer approval.
Handle Withdrawals
Participants can withdraw eligible pending or confirmed shifts before the shift starts. They can use the withdrawal link from the confirmation screen, the confirmation email, or My activity when signed in.
When a participant withdraws, the spot opens back up for someone else.
